The bride was blinking in this picture, so I cropped her head off:


I deliberately rotated the cake to make it look less, uh, upright - straight - stacked - I don't know - but I like it better this way:


A good picture, made better with a little straightening, cropping, and adjusting the color and contrast:

Adjusting the angle (I deliberately skewed the angle here), black and white, cropping, and contrast can save a bad picture:
